University Mentorship Program
How it Works
NAIOP Edmonton is excited to launch the 2025 University Mentorship Program, designed to provide post-secondary students with a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth within the commercial real estate industry.
This mentorship program connects university students with NAIOP Developing Leader Members—commercial real estate professionals under 35—for focused, one-on-one networking sessions. Through these connections, students will gain valuable insights into the industry and explore diverse career paths available in commercial real estate.
The Process
Note: Tickets for the program launch event go on sale January 6th. Registrations open February 6th.
The Mentors

How to Participate
Starting February 6th, register to secure your spot in this year’s program.
Mentees will have a chance to book a mentorship session with the mentor of their choice. Registrations are limited and sessions will be booked on a first come first serve basis.
Once you have secured a mentorship session you will be provided with mentor contact information and are responsible to arrange a time and place for your meeting.
Preparing for your Session
It is each mentee’s responsibility to be prepared for the session to receive the most value from your mentor. Make the most of your sessions by reading and implementing these tips for a great experience.
