I joined RBC in 2018 as a Banking Advisor and later reached my first career goal of becoming a Financial Planner, where I helped clients plan their finances and grow their wealth. After that, I moved into Business Markets and worked with many small business owners and new entrepreneurs as they opened their first business. Supporting clients from zero to one gave me a strong sense of achievement.
After three years in Business Markets, I was promoted to Commercial Banking. I started as a Financial Specialist and built a foundation in credit underwriting, deal structuring, and risk analysis before moving into my current role as a Commercial Relationship Manager. This role fits my personality because I enjoy meeting people and building long-term relationships.
Today, I support healthcare clients by helping them purchase or build new clinics and providing the financial solutions they need to grow. I also work on real estate-related projects, which connects well with my background and interest. I focus on healthcare financing, real estate lending, and cash-flow analysis.
I value clear communication and practical, client-focused advice, and I am motivated by seeing clients grow and succeed. I completed my Bachelor of Economics at the University of Alberta, driven by my interest in current events, politics, and economic news. After several years of work experience, I returned to University of Alberta for my MBA to strengthen my knowledge in business operations, accounting, and leadership so I can better understand my clients’ businesses and provide more meaningful advice. During my MBA studies, I also developed a strong interest in the real estate industry, which led me to specialize in Real Estate.
Outside of work, I enjoy snowboarding and golfing. Snowboarding brings excitement and energy in the winter, while golf helps me stay active, connect with people, and enjoy the outdoors in the summer. These activities keep me balanced, motivated, and always open to new experiences.
