Calvin is excited to be participating in the NAIOP Real Estate Challenge this year, alongside his peers. As someone with an interest in pursuing a career in Real Estate Development, he looks forward to deepening his knowledge of the development process with hands-on experience and valuable learning from industry mentors. In particular, Calvin is excited to apply his coursework, work experience and passion for development to the design,
regulatory and community aspects of the competition. Additionally, he looks forward to
building meaningful relationships with teammates and mentors.

Aside from participating in this competition, Calvin is actively involved in the UBC Real Estate Club as Co-President and is regularly involved with local real estate associations including the Urban Land Institute’s Etkin Scholars Program. Additionally, he enjoys baking sourdough bread, hikes and backpacking, and board games. After graduation, he intends to work for a residential developer in Vancouver. Calvin is very honoured to be part of Team UBC and is grateful to NAIOP for providing this opportunity.
