NAIOP Edmonton has launched its 2026–2028 Strategic Plan, a focused roadmap designed to strengthen commercial real estate development and enhance the Edmonton Region’s competitiveness.
With commercial real estate serving as a major driver of economic growth, the plan outlines how the Chapter will continue leading through advocacy, collaboration, and industry excellence.
At the core of the plan are three Strategic Pillars:
ADVOCATE
NAIOP Edmonton will amplify the voice of commercial real estate through data-driven policy recommendations, tailored advocacy across asset classes, and strengthened relationships with all levels of government. The goal: to position CRE as a proactive, solutions-focused partner in regional planning and policy.
ENGAGE
The Chapter will expand meaningful engagement across the full CRE ecosystem, from emerging professionals to senior leaders. Key efforts include enhancing partner collaboration, strengthening the Developing Leaders program, and increasing opportunities for cross-sector dialogue and member value. NAIOP Edmonton.
ELEVATE
The plan commits to elevating the profile of both the CRE industry and the Edmonton Region by highlighting innovation, community-building, and regional advantages. NAIOP Edmonton will invest in storytelling, thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and continuous improvement of member and stakeholder experience.
Leadership notes that the plan reflects a pivotal moment for the industry, calling for modernized approaches, collaboration, and future-focused action. Reviewed every three years, the plan ensures NAIOP Edmonton remains responsive to emerging trends, evolving policy, and member needs.
